On election night, you will need the (laptop and scanner) if scanning ballots centrally and (laptop and printer).
Confirm VxCentralScan is in Official Ballot Mode and says No ballots have been scanned
If not, switch the scanner to Official Ballot Mode or select Delete Ballot Data from the Admin menu
Delete Ballot Data
Scan ballots in batches of ~fifty (50)
Create a pile of ballots for adjudication as rejected by the scanner
Adjudicate ballots
Scan adjudicated ballots
Write down the number of ballots scanned by the scanner (on laptop screen)
Save CVRs to USB drive
Save Backup to USB drive (in Admin menu)
Secure system as required
Verify there are no CVRs on VxAdmin
Select Reports from the side menu, print an Unofficial Full Election Tally Report as the Zero Report

Select Tally from the side menu, load CVRs from USB drives
Adjudicate write-ins by selecting Write-Ins from the side menu
Manually update results (when applicable)
Select Reports from the side menu, print an Unofficial Full Election Tally Report for the results
Select Reports from the side menu, print a Write-in Tally Report

Save Results file to USB drive
