On election night, you will need VxAdmin (laptop, printer, and APC UPS). If scanning ballots centrally, you'll also need the VxCentralScan (laptop, scanner, and APC UPS) and the Election Night Checklist - VxCS .
Tallying and Saving Results
Log in with election manager card
Select Tally
Select Reports Unofficial Full Election Tally Report
Select Tally
Adjudicate write-ins and marginal marks, if applicable, by selecting Adjudication
Add manual tallies (select Tally Manual Tallies
Select Reports Unofficial Full Election Tally Report
Select Reports Write-in Adjudication Report
Verify all steps above are fully completed and reports reflect all ballots and adjudication
Mark Election Results as Official
Select Reports Official Full Election Tally Report
Select Reports Write-in Adjudication Report
Save other official results exports as required
Power down VxAdmin using the keyboard power button. VxAdmin has shut down correctly when the screen is off and presents no content.
Pack up VxAdmin, seal and document as required, and store in a secure climate-controlled environment
Secure USB drive(s) as required
