The VxPrint Station is where voters take their voter card, after having made their selections at a VxMark Station, to print their ballot. The VxPrint Station is used only when VxMarks are configured for Separate Printing, typically in larger precincts with 4+ VxMark stations. This configuration also requires at least one VxEncode Station per precinct for voters to receive a voter card.
VxPrint is composed of a small Apache 2800 case and an HP M404n printer. Setup is simple:
open the printer and plug it into power using its power cord.
open the Apache case and leave it opened.
take the power brick and plug it into a power outlet
take the USB cable cable and plug it into the printer
turn on the VxPrint using the power button on the upper-left hand corner of the screen.
