Central Scanning

• Set up VxCentralScan

• Confirm VxCentralScan is in Official Ballot Mode and says No ballots have been scanned

  • If not, switch the scanner to Official Ballot Mode or select Delete All Batches from the Scanned Batches menu

• Scan ballots in batches of ~fifty (50)

• Create a pile of ballots for adjudication as rejected by the scanner

• Adjudicate ballots

• Scan adjudicated ballots

• Write down the number of ballots scanned by the scanner (on laptop screen)

• Save CVRs to USB drive

• Save Backup to USB drive (in Settings menu)

• Secure system as required
